Consumption-based billing of heating and hot water costs (VHKA)
To speed up the process of adding areas and tenants based on the consumption-based billing of heating and hot water costs, you can import an VHKA file. Not only will this create all necessary areas and tenants in Avelon, but it can also be used to calculate the shares for each tenant and write these values back to the VHKA file.
On the Network tab, click Edit to go into edit mode.
From the More menu, select VHKA ▸ Import Areas and Tenants. This will create all necessary areas and tenants.
You can now place the areas from the Network Objects tab in the Library panel on the left onto your meter network and connect them to the appropriate meters.
Once all areas connected properly, click on More ▸ VHKA ▸ Create Tenancies. This will create the tenancies, i.e. the links between tenants and areas.
Check the integrity of the meter network via More ▸ Check Configuration and fix any remaining issues that are displayed in the Issues panel at the bottom.
To calculate the shares for each tenant according to the meter network and the consumption data for the current billing period and to download the original VHKA with these shares added, click on More ▸ VHKA ▸ Download. If there are any errors while calculating the shares, they are displayed in the Issues panel at the bottom of the screen. If the calculation was successful, the shares are written into the VHKA file and the VHKA file is downloaded.
