Introduction

On the tab Calculated Data Points in device management you can define calculations of data points. By means of such a calculation the measurements of several input data points can be transformed to a new data point. In this way, it is easy to calculate – for example – consumptions, the total of several meters or more complex values like heating degree days.

These calculations are configured on worksheets, which we also call “pages”. These can be organized in a flexible tree structure on the left side of the screen.

Although it is possible to define several calculations per worksheet, we recommend limiting the number of shapes and thus the complexity of individual worksheets by using separate worksheets, especially for complex calculations.
