TABS

TABS (Thermoactive Building Systems) are used for the control of room temperatures using concrete core activation.

This chapter describes how to configure the TABS service on the Beetle.

Please ensure that your Beetle is in operation and has a connection to the Avelon server. If this is not the case, start in the chapter Connectivity.

Enable TABS service

In order to use the TABS service, a valid licence key must be stored and the service must be enabled. How to enable or license communication protocol services is described in section Communication protocols.

Configure TABS service

The TABS service uses weather data from meteorological weather stations to automatically calculate the optimal target temperature based on a closed control loop.

The default weather station is Zürich-Fluntern (SMA).

You can change the weather station and all other parameters of the control citcuit in the main user interface of Avelon Cloud or Alcedo Inhouse. Please follow the link below for further instructions:
