Set system time
You can have the system time of the Beetle updated automatically via NTP or configure it manually.
Click the Configure button on the System time card.
The current system time of the device is displayed at the top.
To use NTP, you can enter an NTP server in the field NTP server. Then click Save to save the new NTP server and Synchronize to synchronize the time automatically via NTP.
To set the system time manually, you can click on Set time manually and then enter the desired time below. Click on Set time to apply the manual changes.
Use Beetle as time server
Since there is an NTP service running on the Beetle, it can act as a time server for the local network.
Devices that are not connected to the Internet can synchronize their time by using the Beetle as their time server. To that end, enter the IP address of the Beetle as the NTP server on the devices in your local network. We recommend that LoRaWAN gateways get their time from the Beetle. The time server is accessible via the default NTP port 123.
Reboot system
You can restart the Beetle by clicking on the Reboot button and confirm the security prompt with Reboot.
Warning
The web interface cannot be operated while the device is restarting.
Please wait a few minutes until the device is rebooted.
If necessary, press F5
