Introduction

In the user management area, you can manage individual user accounts as well as their authorizations and memberships. Each user has a user role and can be part of any number of user groups.

User role

Determines which features and actions a user with this user role may perform, i.e. exactly “what” a user may do. Typical roles include Administrator, Integrator, Technician, Operator or Guest.

User group

Determines which levels in the group structure a user can access, i.e. “where” a user actually has access. A user can be part of several user groups. The access rights here are additive. Typical groups are for example Team Switzerland West, Zurich Example Street 123 or Management.

For each user group, you can define which levels in the group structure are available for the respective team members (far left).
