Introduction

OPC UA (Unified Architecture) is a machine to machine communication protocol for industrial automation developed by the OPC Foundation.

To read objects via OPC UA, select OPC UA from the protocol dropdown at the top of the left sidebar. Then select one of the OPC servers from the Server dropdown below.

If the correct server is not displayed in the dropdown, you have to configure it.

The nodes are then displayed in the tree below.
